Also, when trying to chat with a representative regarding a refund, the steps you need to take are non-existent as option 6 is not there. Why? You are making it impossible to get a refund within 90 days.
If you believe you’re entitled to a refund from EA, contact us before submitting a chargeback:
- On the EA Help homepage, enter the title of your game into the search bar.
- Choose the game you need help with from the search results.
- Choose See all help topics.
- Choose the Orders category.
- Choose I want a refund.
- Choose the available option to connect with an EA Advisor.
To prevent fraud, we automatically lock any account where a chargeback is requested.
If your account is locked due to suspected fraud, we’ll send you an email with more information, including how to contact us if you think your account has been locked by mistake.
