Offline mode!

Why does the game need to be online when doing single player modes? I lose game data because of EA servers having issues. Now i cant play cause of EA server being down. I understand a check in maybe every 24 hours but always online is BS, especially when it leads to game data lose. Fix this EA! Get the game to work without your servers that always seem to be down!
