Offline/Solo Frsnchise

Can someone please explain to me how to start an offline season? I’ve just wasted 90 min of my life. I don’t need to sign up for an online multiplayer account. I’m old and I just want to play a season against the computer. Really frustrated here.

    When starting a franchise just select the offline mode which should be directly under the cloud franchise option.
