Question about Dual Entitlement + App
What is the point of getting dual entitlement if our progress on MUT doesn't save from the old gen to next gen consoles?
Also, is there any update on when the companion app will be released?

the dual entitlement is there, so that players who upgrade their console don't have to buy the game again, and so they can play with friends that might have the older generation of a console. However, in themselves the old gen and new gen versions are different enough, that cross-progression is not possible. That's why, when you do have games that have cross-progression, they tend to only be able to cross-progress with consoles of the same generation.
Regarding the app, there are no updates quite yet.
