Re: Franchise - backups playing instead of starters

Hey all,

It sounds like this might be related to player fatigue. If Progressive Fatigue and Auto Sub are both enabled the players with high fatigue might be automatically getting subbed with the backups.

You should be able to disable Progressive Fatigue and set all the sub sliders to 0 under Auto Sub in the Franchise settings. It might also be a good idea to set the Fatigue slider down to 0.

Note that you might not notice a difference for the next game if the players are already fatigued before you change these settings.

  • So now we basically can't have fatigue on because you guys don't wanna fix it? Everything was working just fine until that first patch came around then it started doing that. I know I never had a problem before with fatigue in the game but now because you guys don't want to fix it. In order for me to play I have to turn off fatigue? I don't know what else to say but it's unacceptable.

  • Did not work for me either. This issue has been within the game for a few years now and its the end all be all of why i stopped playing entirely. This is a very crippling issue that as you can tell forces players off the game until the next Madden releases. Ive tried just about everything to go around this issue but nothing has worked thus far. I hope this issue can be addressed ASAP.

  • Maybe fix the game, we pay money for this garbage just for a terrible response like this, and for the problem to never get fixed because franchise mode doesn’t make ea money.
