Re: Madden NFL 24 - Launch Update On PC Performance

I have found a potential solution to Madden 24 crashing on launch for PC users that were experiencing this issue. This solution is for the version through the EA App. This is the steps I took when I reached out to EA Help and was advised to do the following:

1) Close everything (Only leave the EA App running)

2) Clear the Cache (VIA the upper left three bars of the EA App and navigating to help then account recovery)

3) If your system has any ASUS Products/Applications, such as Asus's Gamefirst application, open the Gamefirst Application (For me it is Gamefirst VI) and go into the settings and turn off pretty much everything that is turned on in the "Game Turbo" Section of the settings. Then in the same application, go to the dashboard, Where you see your EA application, select the three vertical dots and switch the "Group" option to "Game" and "Enable Application Policy" and leave the speed as extreme (Do this for anything EA related applications that appear in the dashboard screen as you attempt to start Madden 24 for the first attempt, once this has been done, close Gamefirst application entirely without minimizing it to the system tray). If you're system has any other application that uses AI to boost your network to run the game better, turn it off.

4) Launch Madden 24 and it should launch.

5) Clearing the EA app Cache is required prior to as new Madden 24 Gaming Session.

6) If you have multiple monitors, once the game starts you can begin reopening anything else you like to use while gaming.

I am using the latest graphic drivers for Nvidia 3080s.

Madden 24 PC freezes on the load menu, I haven't even played one game yet!

CPU-  Intel core I-5 4690K 3.5 GHZ LGA 1150 processor

    GPU- Radeon RX 570

    Ram- Kingston 16GB 2X8GB DDR3-1866

Power Supply- Corsair TX850 watt 12V 80Plus Bronze ATX power

    Resolution - 1920X1080

Madden settings- set everything to minimum since I was having problems getting the game to load and play, and it still won't load.

I had Madden 23, and I should have kept it. The game ran great with none of the problems I'm experiencing now. I hope EA can find a solution so their customers don't have to spend crazy money upgrading their systems just to run this game!!  It's not right to pay $75 bucks for a game that doesn't even run. If no fix is forthcoming, I want a refund. Then I went to request a refund, but now they're telling me I don't qualify for one. This is BS.
