You just need PlayStation Plus and an internet connection to play Madden 24 online.
As far as the difference between different PS+ tiers goes, that is all explained here.

Community ManagerAhh gotcha. Nope. You're good with just the basic PS+ plan. The others don't unlock any other online features in Madden 24.
