Solo rewards

I just started playing MUT in M24 and played a few hours (from my point of view, the PC version has made a big step over M23 so far, in terms of the experience on the field). I've since completed all the available solo challenges and a few house rules H2H games as well. I just checked my item folder and noticed that none of the rewarded items are tradable or usable in sets. Is this intentional?

I haven't tried to check if I've received all the coins and items I should have, but the rewards are so low so far that I haven't been able to buy a single pack (except for the packs of single gold+ items), even taking into account what I've received from playing the House Rules H2H games. btw, I'm pretty sure I haven't received all the coins and promised items from House Rules so far. The latter for sure, but I didn't take notes on the coins. Anyways, my total coin balance is so low that I really don't want to believe that's all of it. And I haven't spent anything yet except 100 coins on this starter pack....

Did I miss something or is there no way to seriously improve your team just by playing the game?
