Steam Deck Compatibility

Due to EA's anticheat program. Madden 24 will not run on the Steam Deck. 

For those that want to play the game on Steam Deck. I'm sorry but the game will not work on SteamOS. Thank EA for that. Due to their Anti Cheat system, they have cut off the entire Steam Deck player base from being able to play the game.

I know this may not mean much but there are possibly two alternatives. They are not perfect. One is to dual boot windows 10 onto the steam deck. This would ensure that the ea anticheat can run it on the system. As of the time of this post, windows 11 and steamos on the steam deck cannot run madden 24. Windows 10 can, so you can dual boot or install at as your main. This does not guarantee the performance to be great though. Another option would require a second gaming rig capable of running the game. You would have to run it via moonlight/sunshine and stream it to the steam deck. I think moonlight/sunshine is the best alternative if you play at home and have a second gaming rig that can run madden 24. obviously this may not fit everyone's situation. You can also use moonlight/sunshine outside of home using two separate networks, but that would require another cascade of work to get it stream away from home. It is unfortunate that EA cannot allow the game to run natively.
