STEELERS playbook and team issues

Good Afternoon,

If you're like me and only use your favorite team's belongings (players, plays, coach, uniform, stadium), then you tend to be very observant of how Madden programs your team.  The stadium, doesn't have the Hienz ketchup bottle like it should.  Mike Tomlins is wearing white pants (never would do such a tacky move).  The players speed and traits are all nerfed.  Making the Steelers players essentially handicapped with all the other players released with the same overall rating.   And the worst part of all the things I mentioned, are the plays that are designed in the Steelers playbook, continually fail to execute.  And this is not a user issue.  Im talking about players colliding into one another issue.  Making plays actually unusable.  Plays that I loved in Madden 23.

The first play:

Formation: Empty Steeler  Play:  Steelers Cross

In this play, two crossing routes collide with one another every time.  You have to wait until one clears, which is too late, cause you're sacked.  In madden 23, the crossing route ran by the wide receiver, would clear area first.  Ive noticed in Madden 24 this route seems to have more steps, judging by the play art.  The play are shows its just one cut, but in the game the play art has 2 cuts before finishing its route.  Thats issue.  It needs to be one move so the faster player can clear the zone before colliding with the running back.

The second play

Formation: Empty Steeler Play: WR screens

In this play, Every single time, the WR on the far of the play art, collides with the blocking WR.  In Madden 23, this never happened.  In real life, it should never happen.  I don't know why in this madden this is such an issue with the Steelers playbook,  The receiver is bumped.  The QB throws off his back foot,  After seconds of delay the opponents CB is tackling the receiver for negative gain unless I use some magical stick work.  But regardless, the receiver getting knocked back causing the user to wait to the throw is terrible design.

The third play

Formation: Wing Slot. Play: HB Power O

In this play, The Tight end in motion sometimes runs backwards away from his assignment.  So he motions in and then reverses back out, and when the ball is snapped, he then runs into the Quarterback, instead of blocking the outside.  This was also an issue in madden 23 and I hoped that it would have been addressed in this years madden.  BUT here I am, disappointed again.  In theory, its a great design.  Tight end motions, defense motions with tight end, tight motions back, defense scrambles to readjust.  Tight blocks outside rusher,  guard pulls, tackle/guard work to the second level, and like John Madden used to say "BOOM!"  But I don't get go boom,  I get crack blocked by my own player and tackled for negative gain

For now that's all I feel like addressing.  Theres more plays in this playbook with issues (HB screens, Empty Chip formation-the chip blockers will chip and then forget to run the route.  The choice routes that you guys worked so hard on.  I listened to that explanation of which way the receiver is supposed to go according to the coverage.  Andddd. its 50/50.  50/50 is not good when I'm throwing based on a timing decision and my receiver decides to slant or stop which leads to an interception.  Please address that design also.  This is the part where I say I enjoy the game, and that you guys are working hard to improve the enjoyment for all players.  Well, I enjoy the Pittsburgh Steelers and Im seeing the same neglect in my team's players, playbook, coach, and stadium that I saw in last years Madden.  Id love to get a response from a representative from EA, to at least acknowledge that my suggestion on these matters has been heard.  The community as a whole feels like our complaints go unnoticed and were forced to accept whatever is given.  At least I took the time to specifically point out some major flaw in design.  Id like to get feedback on my suggestions.  Thank you.
