Superstar Showdown passing style changed

Superstar Showdown passing style changed.
My buddies and I have played multiple games with the skill based throw style. We loaded into a game directly after using skill based, yet the passing style was changed to classic and we have not been able to switch it back. We all have double and triple checked the in game settings and confirmed we all have skill based turned on. Has anyone else had this issue?
