Superstar switched teams after season 1

My superstar mode is making me play offense and defense and im a qb please help 

I’m having this same issue and wish I could find a fix for it. It takes away the purpose of playing with your created player in superstar mode. I’m playing on PC. 

Same thing happened to me. Won the Super Bowl with 49ers in my 2nd season. I selected the Adidas Brand challenge and accidentally skipped preseason. When I got to the regular season my player had switched to the Saints with no record of a trade and when I go to switch my gear for my player it says I’m still with the 49ers. I’ve played 3 games now with the Saints and still have no weekly challenges.

My superstar is in the second year and now everything is spiraling out of whack. I cannot play mini drills anymore, my player gets hurt, and I have to deal with on field control. If I wanted to franchise mode I would. How can Madden 08 on the GameCube be deeper than this game on the Series X.

I simulated a practice and it gave me no xp for it and doesn’t show the day is completed. It freezes for a second and just shows me the same screen instead of putting me into the mini game for practice. Then when you get in the game it is showing as if I’m controlling my whole team instead of being locked on my player it has me controlling the offense and defense and at the start of my drive it doesn’t give me the chance to pick a drive goal it’s like playing a full franchise game instead.

 I’ve been playing superstar mode as a WR and in the middle of the season like week 7 the game switched on me and it made me start controlling the entire team while before it was only The WR I built. I would like to go back to playing only as the WR but I can’t seem to find anything. I saw videos in franchise mode where you can turn it off but superstar mode does not have that option. Can someone help?

I was playing superstar mode with my HB and doing just fine then all the sudden it wouldn't let me complete my weekly on-field drills. I figured maybe I would just skip the week and play the game, but instead it made me play as the entire team instead of as my superstar. I didn't have access to any gameday missions, any drive missions, etc. throughout the game. When the game ended, I barely progressed my player at all (since I had no missions I could complete). Simmed to the next week and it still won't let me complete any on-field drills and the next game was the same - had to play as the whole team with no missions. I checked other forums (Reddit, EA, etc.) and this seems to be an issue that suddenly popped up with a lot of people's Superstars within the past few hours today (08/29). I checked my other save file (QB) and that Superstar build is also affected by this. 

Note: As of now, you cannot delete your build and start over with your current overall like in previous versions of Madden. If you delete your build, you start from scratch. This bug makes Superstar mode unplayable if you can't play as your superstar and you can't complete drills, missions, or progress at a normal rate.
