Madden 24 superstar mode forced to retire

Same, contract with the Steelers expired and declined their offer. Then I was in free agency and forced to sign with the bears then it forced me too sim to preseason then to regular season with the option to retire always up their. Then I close because I don’t want to retire then go back in then it’s on view player card, tells me I made the hall of fame and is too 7 all time and the option to retire. 

This issue happened to me today on 99 Overall WR build that I’ve spent four months on. After winning my fourth Super Bowl I rejected a re-sign from the team I already had and was offered a contract from the Bears. The issue was that I couldn’t accept or decline, then an NFL box popped up on my screen with no text. I clicked it continuously, but ended up with a retire player button. I tried going to the main menu and loading back in to try and resolve the problem only to be forced onto the retire screen. I had to close and reopen the game to be able to play again and not have to retire. Now I’m just waiting until EA will fix this horrible glitch because I’m just greeted with the retire screen every time I load into league and I’m not deleting all the progress and hours I put into this game.

I’ve had the same problem too I have a 97 ovr corner that have had since the game came out and I’ve worked on it for an awhile and I’m scared to go into free agency. But I’ve looked through these pages and there are 5 pages of the same issue and EA hasn’t said a word and it’s starting to * me off so for the love of for EA PLS fix your game.

Exact same thing happened to me with WR at commanders and then once I declined their new offer it bugged out with the bears then it’s making me retire, feel like I’ve wasted all that time playing to get to that point to leave for nothing , all the money ea make and we as customers have to buy their products for silly things like this to still happen, shocking in my opinion 

Just happened to me 2. Havent Play Madden in years cause game has been thrash. Now it was on psplus so I tought why not.

Spent 70+ hours lvling Up my qb, for absolutely nothing. i've got nothing left. F ea. Greedy ugly people. Ya'll dont give a F about tour players. I immediately uninstalled the game after reading that this glitch has been going on for years, waste of space on my PS5, and I'll never, ever, spend another buck or even waste a second on your games, NHL UFC MADDEN NCAA etc. All dog 💩

This just happened to me too. I got my QB to OVR 96. I finished my initial contract winning the Superbowl all but my first year. I get offered a 1 year extension by the Rams for like 46 million and it doesn't let me refuse it. I accept it and then advance week and get a 1 year offer from the Bears for 111 million and again my only option is to accept it. I then get the NFL logo and the option to advance week or retire. I keep advancing the week and the game is completely bugging out until finally it only gives me the option to retire. I do not want to retire. I don't even care how much the contract offers are for as the money literally doesn't mean anything in this game. I just want to get to 99 OVR. I'm not clicking retire. Fix this bug for the love of God. We know you know about it. Stop choosing to do nothing about it. I actually like this game but this bug is BS.
