Accidental pump fake when passing

This has become a regular occurrence in the last few weeks where my QB will pump fake after I attempt a bullet pass, resulting in a sack.

its not just a case of me panicking and double tapping the button, I hold it to go for a bullet pass but the pump fake happens. There’s also been several times where I’ve gone to do a bullet pass and my qb has performed a lob pass, which has resulted in interceptions

I’m playing on PS5 and also there’s a chance it’s my controller, I don’t think it is as I’ve had no issues with it.
