Hey Everyone,
If you continue getting a DirectX error, can we try the following?
- Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Repair the game files in the EA app. Go to the Library and find your game. Click the Manage icon, then click Repair.
- Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
- If there’s an option available, try capping your frame rate. You can also enable Vertical Sync (V-Sync), to match your frame rate to your display’s refresh rate.

I am continuing to have the same issue with an Nvidia RTX 3060. Same error message as above. The issue is isolated to this game. I have run System File Checker, repaired game files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game file, cleared the EA App Cache. I've capped frame rate, adjusted visuals to lowest settings.
I am able to access game menus, but immediately upon entering any game I get a crash with the same error message. Any ideas?- EA_Illium11 months ago

Hello, I am also getting the same crash. It happens within the first 5 minutes of any game I start. I have the AMD Radeon VII and have all the latest drivers. I also have gone through and tried all of these steps below. (I purchased the game on steam and not the EA app, does that make a difference?).This problem was occuring on the launch date when I bought the game and still continues today. I am also attaching my dxdiag file.

Bumping my previous comment so this issue can be resolved. I bought this game on launch day and have still not played a single game in its entirety

Hey @MasterOfQuackFu Apologies for the delay, to confirm you were able to try the steps I shared here as well?
If so do you know if clean booting your PC gives you the same error?

Hey @EA_Illium , I was able to try step 1 which did not work. Steps 2 and 3 I could not do as instructed because I bought the game through steam, not EA. I did uninstall the game and re-install it however, and that also did not work. I also tried steps 4 and 5 but neither worked.
I have not tried clean booting, but I will test that next.
