Hey @EA_Illium , I was able to try step 1 which did not work. Steps 2 and 3 I could not do as instructed because I bought the game through steam, not EA. I did uninstall the game and re-install it however, and that also did not work. I also tried steps 4 and 5 but neither worked.
I have not tried clean booting, but I will test that next.

- @EA_Illium Sorry I phrased that poorly. I ran the system file checker tool with no issues and did not see any updates
I ran the clean boot. Re installed steam, re installed EA app, tried to launch the game and it said "EAAntiCheat Service encountered an error. Please restart the game.". So I found the EAAntiCheat Installer on my pc, ran it, and it says that it is installed for Madden 25.
So now I cant even launch the game. This is getting to be very frustrating.
Also, do I need to re -enable all of my programs again after the clean boot?
- @MasterOfQuackFu I uninstalled and reinstalled the EA anti cheat and it allowed me to start the game. But within 5 minutes of play time the same crash happened.
Also this being the only means of getting support from EA is ridiculous. I bought this game at launch and have still hardly played it because I have to wait a few days in between answers.
