Hidden Development resets to 0 or never gains snaps

I have an online franchise on ps5 with 5 other friends in our second season I drafted 5 hidden dev players and in week 5 all 5 players were reset so now they are between 20-40 out of 500 snaps and all five are starters should be over 200 snaps at least. I am not the only player in this league with this issue 2 other players have reported the same issue.

I have the same problem. Since the last update, every time I upgrade a player with Hidden Dev, the progress goes to zero! It is not the first problem in Franchise Mode, but EA teams seems not to care about Franchise ...

i started a offline carolina franchise and legette, brooks, etc. are all star dev but reverted back to hidden. it seems this was an issue few years ago as well but this is frustrating. theres a way to fix it by manually turning them back once their rookie year is complete but i wonder if its a long term thing or a glitch that eventually goes away. never had this bug ever in any of my franchises and have always done offline franchise.

I have had the same problems as described above in my offline Franchises since the recent patch.

Another (I believe) related issue also occurs in subsequent seasons when drafting players with hidden dev traits from imported draft classes. The dev traits will randomly reveal at points during the preseason. Then they will sometimes reset to 0 snap count once the Regular Season begins. Very frustrating as it ruins the experience of trying to sim multiple seasons while cherry picking games to play.

Same, I have tried multiple things.  I even simmed till their development trait unlocked.   Then it still reset afterwards.  This is with current rookies.   Jayden Daniels, edge cooper, etc.   traits won't stay unlocked and snaps are never gained unless you sim.

yeah its pretty stupid and i only play franchise and maybe quick play. at this pt i just dont wanna play ts anymore

Same issue here. JJ McCarthy resets after every game or getting upgraded. I might as well sit him and use Darnold at this point.

Did they say how to fix this yet??

While annoying it doesn't impact your rookie's development.

Even while their dev trait is hidden they still get XP at the rate of whatever it will be revealed as.  For several iterations you can actually tell what people's dev trait will be in practice by comparing it to other people's XP gains because of that.  The only impact it has is if someone is a superstar or X-factor rated player they can't assign abilities until that is revealed, but McCarthy is star not SS or above. 

It's weird though, I got the glitch, but after the current season next year everyone's traits were revealed right after the draft.  Once I was in my 3rd season of franchise it started working correctly.
