If it's not broke don't fix it. The old kick meter worked great for how many years? No one was complaining "God this kick meter is terrible, EA really needs to do a brand new kick meter" It doesn't fix the lag when you're kicking, it doesn't add anything positive to the game. It made it worse, no one likes it.Defense is totally broken. It's been bad since the most recent generation of consoles. This year it's exceptionally bad, and I mean exceptionally. Priorities for this game are completely off base. We add a kick meter that everyone immediately turns off, and you go and require it for H2H now. Don't you collect metrics on this stuff? No one uses the new kick meter.I've stuck this out for the last couple of years, but the tone deafness is just unreal at this point.I usually play a couple thousand hours, and I'm done after about 5 hours this year. As much as I used to enjoy playing this game, it has just wrecked my hands. I'm going to save my hands, and I'm going to just put the game down. I am beyond frustrated.

I feel your frustration and totally disappointed with certain changes EA made with Madden 25. They remove parts of the game that should not be removed or changed differently. I give one example out of many I have, Madden 19 was the last year where you can hurry up your offense to line up. But now they rather have the clock ticking down, and your team is takeing there sweat time to line up to hike the ball. It just makes it feel like a generic football game....EA please just listen to about a dozen or more suggestions I have to make Madden great again...🤔

It is so frustrating. Played a game today where all PAT,s were missed by both teams .It is a joke .I cannot understand the thought process

@Bash8R It’s been a slow and painful decline since end of ps2/xbox era in my opinion. The first ps3 madden was such a regression and i think really until this year it was basically the same. The passing changes I actually liked but never before was the lack of quality control and such dumb and basic issues present at launch. For example, and I understand it’s minor in grand scheme of things, jersey selections don’t even work! Like, this is a sports game, the least you can expect is to pick a different jersey. Just shows such a lack professionalism on EA’s part.

I can't believe this meter thing. And to make it EVEN worse, you can't go into the skills trainer to at least practice with it and get better.

Summarize your bug Have had the multimeter since I installed the game and can never change it, see other people on streams with the classic kick meter and dont understand whats wrong. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the game and have the same issue. Any ideas on what to do?

@Chrigusta2608 What mode are you playing? I only play online h2h and since patch that is only option regardless of settings but if I play anything offline I can use either according to what I choose.

same for me, can use classic in practice mode but online h2h its multimeter which sucks. Ive seen people on twitch have classic when its online h2h vs play a friend which is weird.

Madden 25 new kick meter causes more problems than it solves. The easiest fix for this is continue to provide the consumer a choice and not force them to use an addition that in popular opinion was not needed.
It is causing millions of customers/game players unnecessary losses.
Please update/enable the feature in H2H, we are not all into MUT, which this game clearly caters to.
