Your posting what I and others have been saying, I reported the issue within the first 10 mins of launch. You are the only one I have seen across steam, here, and Reddit that the issue doesn’t resolve itself with steam input or steam disabled. Unless you have a steering wheel or flight stick also plugged in which can cause that as well in other games.
Also please before you tell me to read please read yourself, I said it was NOT a steam or controller issue and that it was a confirmed game bug if you had looked in technical issues you would have seen the thread created there and the confirmation of this issue by the reps 🤷🏻♂️
Okay, your issue is what everyone else is experiencing. The work around on steam and what I said here (exit out of steam completely before launching the game, or disable steam input) has worked for every single thread I have seen elsewhere….im sorry it don’t for you for some reason. I also posted so you knew it has been passed along to the team for a fix.
I’m confused why so many people post a thread then get touchy when it’s replied to are pretty cynical of the reply….either way have a good day and hope we all don’t have to wait to long for the fix to come 😊

I had the same issue with my controller. I do exactly the opposite and it works for me. Open steam. Upper right hand corner. There is a picture of a computer. Click on that then set up your controller.
