@nike23osu point noted however, not sure why your reply would help me. i've checked all the steam post already. you replying confused me as you added nothing to help or to clairify what i already posted about above.

I had the same issue with my controller. I do exactly the opposite and it works for me. Open steam. Upper right hand corner. There is a picture of a computer. Click on that then set up your controller.
