Re: Unable to join game session. Players not on latest game version.

I play on the Xbox series x and every time I play a friend an error that says we are not on the same game version pops up.

My game tag is ISpam X VO I can’t play with my brother we bought the game and now we can’t play together I thought my game was just tripping but multiple people around are have the same issue please fix asap

I have had this problem too any fixes?

Anyone else getting a glitch stating that one the players games need to be updated? We checked and there’s no updates for either of us and are trying to run duos.

it worked for us when my buddy went into friends list and clicked on my name, then requested to join my game and it worked on playstation

In the meantime, please ensure that you and your friends are downloading and playing the correct version of the game for your consoles, and that all recent updates are installed. Make sure to restart your system and look for any available updates.

Occasionally, players may accidentally download and install the Gen 4 version of the game instead of the Gen 5 version, so please verify that this is not the case.

Me and my friend bought the bundle with college football. I were on the same game. Will there be an update or a patch to this? Otherwise I want my money back…

Not at home right now, but the theory is that it is for people who game share the game, which is a feature every game allows and has worked every single madden. That is the issue. EA, can you recognize that and get a patch out or somehow fix it by today, Thursday, or Friday? I bought the deluxe for early access and sure I can play solo but cannot play with my friend who game shares.
