Roster update error

Every time I load the game it gives a message. An error has occurred while downloading the latest roster. the it ask would I like to try again, yes or no. it also is doing this on EA college football.

When I try to play madden 25 online, I get an error saying that it couldn’t download the updated roster. I have uninstalled and redownloaded the game and I still get the same issue. Help!

I'm having the same issue and can't figure it out.  I can't play anyone online at all.  Smh

It keeps saying an error has occurred while downloading latest roster and I can play anything. Tried delete and reinstall game and same thing, anyone else having this problem?

I have been unable to play online consistently since they released the player card update. 

I’m unable to play H2H pretty often because I get the following error - anyone else experiencing this? Happens over and over again.  Using Series X console.  Cheers.

”Roster Update.  There was a problem downloading the latest player roster.  Would you like to try again?”

Yes, happening in both madden UT and college football UT for me as well on series X.

The issue is being reported by multiple players and being investigated I am pretty confident. Hopefully it is resolved soon. Make sure to hit the me too on the first post.

Appears to have self corrected for me - EA must’ve patched something without telling us.
