Unable to join the session because all players were not on the latest game version. Please make sure all players have downloaded any updates and try again fix?

I just wanted to check in and see if anyone is still running into this same error. 

If you're still getting the error, would you mind sharing a bit more info with us? 

  • Which platform are you playing on? 
  • What is your Xbox Gamertag, PSN ID, or EA Account ID? 
  • Which game mode were you trying to play when you got the error?

      1. Hey, Madden 25 just recently had an update. My friend and I tried playing today on superstar, H2H and ultimate team. All of which said “ unable to join session because all players are not in the latest game version”. We have both updated our game.

        Me too… there was tons of outages last night that said it would be back up by 6:00am this morning… any luck?
