I am having this error too, but both of us are on the latest game version. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game on both systems. You guys broke the game.
I've tried everything as well, hard reset, deleting my cache, reinstalled the whole game, nothing works and damn EA support is about worthless
Still having this issue it’s been two weeks EA fix your game!
Day 14 with this bug.
I’ve posted on this thread since the bug occurred on 10/15… nothing. It’s easy to see there has been ZERO info shared from EA.

i tagged anyone I saw related to EA. Even if you don’t relate to Madden, hopefully someone has the connection to be some kind of help.
Madden has been experiencing a roster error since the update that took place on October 15th.
when trying to join an online game, madden will state, “unable to join. Someone doesn’t have the most recent players”.. which is incorrect. There is no update available- on madden or on the console. We are not grandmas!! we would not have resorted to these threads if a simple update solved the problem.
It has been 14 days that I have watched thousands of users on here, Twitter, instagram, and Facebook ask for some sort of help or even acknowledgment on this issue. It has been two weeks and we have not gotten a word that even lets us know you all are attacking the issue. Just bots asking, “hi what system are you on”… The issue is with both systems. Please someone do something.
Our hands are tied bc all we can do is post a thread here or talk to a bot on a social site that ultimately guides us to this page lol. Can someone use their authority to touch base with whoever is over seeing this? What’s the point of creating ea “help” if users are going two weeks without… help…?
And please do not let my impatience offend you.. it’s been two weeks!! Two! We’ve been understanding.
