This indicates either you or your fellow players have not updated the game. 

Starting the game should prompt the player to update.

No. This is not the fix. There are thousands of players who can't join invites from friends in h2h, we also can't join invites from online franchise leagues. Also when we send invites it tells the user trying to join the same thing. PLEASE fix this asap.
