Can't play as Player in Franchise?

When you thought it couldnt get any worse I find out you cant be a player anymore in franchise mode... so when i wanna have my custom draft classes and play as myself as QB i cant now... wow.... way to ruin franchise even more

this was literally my main way of playing its actually ridiculous they took away something good to funnel everybody to a half assed mode like superstar where they barely changed anything from last year smh....this is the sole reason why i wont even bother buying EA is garbage
