Create a Player in Franchise GONE

Question

So I have a huge complaint against madden 25 that is literally keeping me from buying the game. They removed the option in franchise where you change role to a player or create a player. I think in 24 you could pick many different positions, but for myself I’d pick quarterback. I’d create my own quarterback that would progress and I’d control offense. I could make the right calls on 4th down, call my own plays, control how the players on offense move, or change the type of catch thrown. &nbsp; The superstar mode is so weird and has no control to it- useless storylines, weird camera angle, no control of other players, no making the right calls. I see no reason why they had to remove something that’s been in the game for YEARS. Like what benefit did it do? Please patch and fix this, will get a guaranteed buyer out of me and many others.&nbsp;

My bad, I thought he was referring to just creating a player. Yea, there is no option to be the role of a created player. EA removed it. They always do this, they tweak some things and then they ruin others every year. They will come up with a stupid idea, like let's put the stamina gauge on top of the head of the defenders a few years back which to me is annoying and totally unecessary and worthless. I have no need to see this stamina gauge. I hate graphics on top of players heads. also, Like when your rushing the passer as well. I know how to do it, I don't need a huge graphic telling me when to do my rush. Annoying!&nbsp; It takes away from the realism of the game. There should be an option to remove them all.&nbsp;

I really am not a fan of the option to remove the “Player” option the Franchise mode. It was a harmless and chill game mode that allowed players to enjoy creating custom characters and play as them, all while experiencing Franchise. I really hope EA didn’t remove it from the game all so that people would play Superstar mode. The mode isn’t terrible, I just would prefer to avoid all the cutscenes and just play as custom character. Superstar doesn’t allow you to pick to play as a DE or FS/SS which is a really bummer. Please EA, add an update that has existing assets from Madden 24 or something so that this feature can be added into Madden 25. I’m sure am not the only one in the community who want this back into the game

So this was an intended change? The only reason me and my friends buy the game each year is to make our own quarterbacks and play in the league together. That's crazy that they just remove the option to play that way entirely.

There is an option to create a player in franchise. Basically the same garbage as last year with a few new heads to choose from.&nbsp;
