Depth charts

So for the last 100 years I have brought this up and nothing. So, I will again bring it up just to hear crickets. Why do the depth charts reset during preseason games? For the love of all that’s holy, can you please make it so they stop resetting after the 1st quarter in game 1, 2nd quarter in game 2, and 3rd quarter in game 3. Why do you guys get to decided my lineup in preseason? I have it set to manual, guess it doesn’t work either. 
Fix it so the player profiles quit changing when you edit a player. Good lord man!

    Not sure what you mean by resetting during preseason.

    In Preseason - It's practice, not even common practice, this is just how it is - teams play their starters for the first quarter of the first game / the first half of the second game / the first three quarters of the third game.

    Once you reach those points, the depth chart will start your backups.  Does it do a good job? No.  Does it make good decisions for which backups go where? Absolutely not.

    The only real way to deal with this if you care to - is to go in and manually adjust it after the backups sub in for their preseason reps.

    @DoRFspider I do that and gets old. There are numerous games in preseason where starters never see the field. Not every team in the NFL does the starters for a quarter in game 1, 2 quarters game 2, and 3 quarters game 3. Most of the time it’s players that are trying to make the team. It’s stupid as hell for the depth charts to change like that. We should be able to decide how we want the depth chart when we want it. Just saying
