Derrick Henry Arm Sleeves only able to be equipped in Showdown.

Basically the title. Finished the superstar path and was supposed to unlock the Derrick Henry arm sleeves. Tried to equip the sleeves on my character in The Leauge mode, but it doesn't show up as an option. It will only let me equip it in showdown mode. Is this a bug I need to fix or is it just a braindead thing that EA did on purpose?
