Franchise mode kicking style

When starting a new franchise, in the settings there’s an option to select multi meter kicking or classic kicking. Whenever I leave the settings screen, the kicking defaults back multi meter. There is also no option to adjust the kicking style after a new franchise is created in the settings menu. I also have classic set up and working just fine in the master settings from the home screen, but every franchise i start (i have tried 4 new ones), there is no way to get the setting to stay on classic kicking style, and the option to change after starting a franchise is completely missing
