@Alittle2twisted I don't want to speak ahead of time but I was able to play 3 full games normally
The bug seemed to come from Throwing or making touchdowns to players not on your roster from the previous season. I don't think they did the TD animations correctly for new players in the team.
But I was able to make TDs with people who were new to the roster so safe to say...so far ...it's not crashing.

Finally safe to say I think it's fixed in superstar mode. Just finished the rest of my season. 7 straight games no crash.
Yeah I think it’s fixed. Had a day off from work for the hurricane in FL and played a whole season. Bueno.
