I've written basically the exact same post for years now and honestly, it's quite disappointing. I went through part of the 10-hr trial to see everything I needed in franchise mode this year. After looking through I can confidently say that I will not be spending my money on Madden until the changes us offline players want are made. @xPats4LifexYeah I think it's crazy for the NFL to have allowed this deal to last for now 20years. In fact EA has had exclusive rights to the NFL licenses for longer than any of its previous competitors were even making sim football games. That is such a crazy thought. I know that NBA 2K certainly has its issues as well but at least they don't have exclusive rights, EA simply isn't confident enough (or are too busy counting its hundreds of millions from these Hard drive black whole/coffee table coasters of football games) to make another basketball game.Unlike many in the community I would prefer solid realistic gameplay with, strong AI team building logic, the ability to build out a robust coaching strategic (not some stupid focus on running between the tackles or intermediate passing), players that actually play like themselves both in game on the field and in simmed games and of course real lifelike NFL sim stats. Teams that you can set RB by committee and the game does that in simmed games. Sim stats that don't rely on a specific playbook for specific results. Not seeing 20 sack seasons every year. The ability to choose to play with all 32 teams with the press of a button and not something that takes 30 plus minutes. I think this community just deserves better.

However, you must pay for the monthly subscription to whatever it is so that you can upload your teams into a cloud franchise. You cannot use them in an offline franchise, and apparently cannot use them in play now either?? (Most of this comes from a YouTuber I follow who had the early access). Not yet confirmed but don’t be surprised.

@Cyberflea its rated a 2 right now on google reviews, the #BringBackNFL2K is trending on X, consumers are severely unhappy again. it's time to make a change

Draft Class Customization

THE SAME GENERIC FACES AGAIN!

Team Relocating

I heard Madden was getting a team builder but relocating a team is absolutely pointless because the new stadium delivers absolutely 0 authenticity to the specific team. It feels bland and neglected.

The fans/stadiums feel lifeless
All player interaction with fans was taken away years ago (ex crowd celebrations)

Can't use Teambuilder teams in play now. CFB25 has this. SMH

Try looking at the PS4 port they did. It is hilarious. Not to mention all of the bugs with 25 and not even allowing coop controllers in franchise anymore. There is nothing in the world addressing any of these issues. I'm glad i didn't buy the game

EA is lazy because they have no competition, having rights to the only NFL video game and they obviously know it. It's a yearly lazy cash grab. EA makes it seem like there so much improvement with each year's title and all it is are tweaks. Not only that, but they make some things worse every year as well.

i went to several twitch streams and scoured the internet. You are the only other person than myself to say this. I think they are suppressing it and secretly making this game only MUT and online Skirmish mode

I don't think they're doing that, but I do think they are severely neglecting the offline and franchise modes. It's still there as bare bones as it is, I actually think that since they are the only company that can make a "simulation' football game that they have to include franchise mode. Besides it would be bad for sales to completely omit franchise. The bring in more sales but having it there, dangling the carrot and not delivering anything substantial.

@xPats4Lifex I share your concerns for the outdated generic faces. In fact some of the faces are remnants of NCAA 14 era games.

I understand that being an issue for many, but it's really the least of our problems. This games sim engine just doesn't generate realistic results and it comes from the sim stats being tied to playbooks for yet another year.

If I edit an already good receiving back like McCaffrey and make all of his receiving ratings in the 99s I should get more than 33 catches out of him. I don't get why this was ever the design choice and why they've decided (or maybe don't care about it) to stay with it.

This game just has a ton of egregious legacy issues.

I think other than the fact that it's the only licensed "simulation" football title on the market this game has failed to fulfill its reason for existing.
