@xPats4LifexYeah I think it's crazy for the NFL to have allowed this deal to last for now 20years. In fact EA has had exclusive rights to the NFL licenses for longer than any of its previous competitors were even making sim football games. That is such a crazy thought. I know that NBA 2K certainly has its issues as well but at least they don't have exclusive rights, EA simply isn't confident enough (or are too busy counting its hundreds of millions from these Hard drive black whole/coffee table coasters of football games) to make another basketball game.
Unlike many in the community I would prefer solid realistic gameplay with, strong AI team building logic, the ability to build out a robust coaching strategic (not some stupid focus on running between the tackles or intermediate passing), players that actually play like themselves both in game on the field and in simmed games and of course real lifelike NFL sim stats. Teams that you can set RB by committee and the game does that in simmed games. Sim stats that don't rely on a specific playbook for specific results. Not seeing 20 sack seasons every year. The ability to choose to play with all 32 teams with the press of a button and not something that takes 30 plus minutes. I think this community just deserves better.
