Practice squads

This has been an issue since the practice squads were implemented into the game. Why is it restricted to players under a certain age? There are two problems. Many teams have veterans in practice squads spots and it affects the rosters. And practice squads don't impact the games at all where in the real NFL you can elevate a few players in each game. That doesn't seem like something too hard to implement essentially make it at the auto bottom of the depth chart unless elevated in which case they'll be allowed to move up or down the depth chart. I realize you guys don't care and hate us all and you just wanna make the simple stuff and get paid. But wouldn't it be cool to actually try again? To put effort and pride into your product? To make your customers happy and indulge in their feedback? Just a thought.
