Superstar Mode QB: Can’t apply skill points

Hello, I just started a career as a QB and it won’t let me apply any skill points. It’s telling me I need to purchase XP to get Skill Points and Level Up but I have skill points to spend? Any help is...

Has anyone figured out how to fix this? I'm having the same issue. I just started my CB today and i have like 17 points but it wont let me use them.
