I don't see the option to play as teambuilder teams in play now. I cannot imagine why this would not be a thing. It's in CFB25. If you wanna preview a team's stadium or roster, you have to make an entire franchise save. You can't just hop in a game with a random team, or couch play your custom teams against each other.
PLEASE tell me this isn't by design or by choice. It makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. Is there a fix on the way?
was just having the same conversation with my buddy. I even read on an article about being able to use them in "Play Now/Quick Play" but I see no way to do it. The fact we have to create a whole new franchise every time we want see an adjustment made to a created team is mind-blowing. poor design.

You're not alone. I too wish to play custom teams in Play Now. Not being able to do so is just weak.
Yes I’m disappointed I wanted to play some classic teams computer vs computer in quick mode but you can’t but in cfb25 u can! Wish u could transfer the team to cfb 25 so u can play them
Back in the deep dive they placed in in franchise, and I knew then it was only going to be used there. This teambuilder is create a team on steroids. Play Now is what I need and only what I need to play this game. Another thing is the cap size of teams. Madden NFL 12 had crappy logos to select but you had unlimited team creations. I wish they could patch in the ability to use your teambuilder teams in play now mode. I could use a 32-team playoff bracket and let it be cpu vs cpu. I have a 16-team playoff tournament going on with CFB 25 and I am at the 4 team finals to determine which two teams will play in the championship game. Both team builders have been a huge let down and highly disappointing. What is worst is that no one is trying to solve the problem.
Agreed man. I got a 32 team custom teambuilder franchise that I want to use and I cant even use it offline or in play now. *'s ridiculous. It's more crazy how no Madden Youtubers are speaking up about this.
