Why is some of my guys not showing up in the Depth chart

When I’m not playing online I see my players that’s in the roster. However, if they’re not in my starting lineup and I get ready to put them in the game I don’t see them on the depth chart. One game I had Q. Mitchell starting but then when I wanted to sub a DB out and put Kelee Ringo in the game he was no where on the roster.
