Sim Practice in franchise?

In previous versions, in franchise mode as coach or GM, you could set your offensive/defensive focus, set your focal players, set your strategy (HC, OC, DC, PP), and then you could simulate practiced based on your parameters. Now, I think that if you set strategy then start a game, it will give you the option to simulate practice, but I am not sure if it follows your parameters if you just back out and I know it changes your offensive and defensive focus back to whatever it had set it for before you changed it. So, say your defensive focal is 'defend outside run' and you change it to 'defend inside run'. But to start the play you have to click completely out of the strategy part and when you do, your 'defend inside run' changes back to 'defend outside run'.

So, I have carpal tunnel really badly. I need, especially the GM role, to be 'hands off', where I set my offensive and defensive focus, set my focus players, set my strategy (HC, OC, DC, PP), and then click 'Simulate practice', and get it all done. Then I can go in and get my upgrades if I leveled.

My least favorite part of the game is when it forces me to try to be somewhat dexterous, like having to chose from 4 different options, timed, or trying to manually run practice (I can't).

So please make simulating focal points and strategy easier to engage.

It is entirely possible that the way is there and I just haven't figured it out yet.
