Created Player Editing Issues in Franchise Mode

I wanted to bring up an issue I’ve been having with created players in Madden 27 Franchise Mode.

After bringing a created player into Franchise, any changes I make to that player do not seem to save. This includes ratings, player information, traits, equipment, and other editable settings. I can select Save Changes, but when I go back to the player, the edits have reverted.

This is especially frustrating for people who use created players heavily in Franchise or plan on building custom future draft classes. Being able to continue editing those players after starting a franchise is pretty important for that kind of experience.

I’d also like to see more customization options added for created players, specifically the ability to change stances and motion styles. For example, my created wide receiver is assigned a default stance that looks pretty uncommon, and there currently doesn’t seem to be a way to change it. Having access to the different stance and movement options already used by other players would make created players feel much more authentic.

Hopefully the editing issue can be looked into, and expanded stance/motion customization can be considered for a future update.

For me it’s similar experience in that when I try to save the edited player in franchise mode…it would error out by saying that there is an issue with the server or unable to connect at this time, please try again later.  I too hope they can add a fix to the next patch release soon.  I am happy that at least they were able to fix the issue with the created player disappearing after progressing to next game.
