Supersim Slow - INT issue
This is something that has gone across multiple franchises. Your QB and the CPUs QB in the games you supersim slow ( CPU vs CPU watch mode ) will throw for more INTs then the average during these games regardless of the QBs ratings. Every QB I have used in my franchises, ranging from low 70s to mid to high 90s overall would end the year with 15+ INTs . Like I can look at the stats page for QBs and just order by INTs and tell right off the bat if I played that QBs team that year without looking at the players name or team, just based on the INTs the QB has So there is something going on in that mode with the ratings or player traits of the QBs and or the defense5Views0likes0CommentsCPU Inconsistency and slider issues
Every year since I was 10 years old, I’ve bought Madden, and ever since frostbite has taken over the quality of the computer gameplay has been absurd. I can’t get a stop against Cooper Rush with Aaron Donald and miles Garrett, I understand trying to make it more challenging, but there is no sliders for realistic gameplay and the computer is way too OP. What are you guys doing to solve this? It’s insane. The gameplay is unplayable against CPU. You cannot release a game and say that simulation is the closest to realistic gameplay and then, I get blown out by a fourth string quarterback when I have Hall of Fame defensive linemen. It doesn’t happen. I can’t even game plan against certain teams. I can pick random bonus play sheets, but like there’s no realisism to actually playing a true franchise. 1 star game again. I hope EA goes bankrupt because I know I am not the only person to consistently talk about how **bleep** poor the gameplay truly is35Views1like4CommentsDetail what gives a game better GAME VALUE
THIS IS ONLY ABOUT FRANCHISE MODE: YOU CALL IT SIMULATION, RIGHT Improved Version Before I get into my reality rant, let me set the stage: I’m 47 years old and I’ve been playing Madden since day one — literally before most of y’all were even born. I’ve watched this game evolve from pixelated players into the crazy graphics we have now. And honestly, that’s exactly why I’m saying this: Madden needs to take a step back from pushing player graphics and take a step forward into the hood of the game — the DETAIL. You can’t satisfy everybody, so give us more options and more sliders so we can shape the game the way we want it to play. Contract sliders Trade sliders Gameplay sliders Persona/relationship sliders Staff/coaching sliders Draft class logic sliders Let us tune the experience instead of being stuck with one vision. PLAYER FACES & CREATION Add 3,000+ faces or build a full creation engine like Superstar mode. Generic faces aren’t just “old-looking” — the real issue is 263 faces in every draft class is nowhere near enough. It kills immersion in a simulation game. We need variety, youth, and realism. AWARDS & PRESENTATION Add real award logos Build a proper award menu for each player Multiple Super Bowl celebrations (start with at least 3) Ring ceremony Award ceremony now that the Pro Bowl is gone Hall of Fame rosters should already be in the game so we can add legends as free agents in Franchise Presentation matters. It’s part of the soul of Franchise. COMMENTARY & ROOKIE EXPERIENCE You added multiple commentary teams — great. Now make it elite, dynamic, and creative, especially for rookies. Rookies should wear the rookie badge all season. It’s a small detail that adds a lot. FRANCHISE QUALITY OF LIFE Make CPU vs CPU games easy to watch: Schedule → Select Team → Watch Game Expand the Persona Engine with relationships: Players who don’t want to play with certain teammates, coaches, or staff. Chemistry should matter. BOTTOM LINE Madden doesn’t need more shine — it needs more substance. More detail, more options, more faces, more presentation, more immersion.35Views6likes1CommentMore variety of faces and hair
I’ve been playing madden all my life I would love if madden did what 2k did and make like customizable faces in different hairs. I play Franchise a lot and I like playing like in the future where I see how everything turns out and where the generated players become hall of famers and pro bowlers and etc. But they all look the same but when you get on cfb27 you have all types of different faces and hair hanging out the helmets and younger and actually football players faces but when you get back on madden I see old ahhh men and dudes that look like they wouldn’t ever step on a field. Ea please give us more faces like way more and 20+ different hair styles for madden im tired seeing the same stuff. Yall showed us yall can do it with different games especially cfb27 but madden. Please im begging you.2Views0likes0CommentsCan't select prospects for private workouts
As the title suggests, I can't select prospects for private workouts in the week prior to the draft in Franchise mode. I don't seem to be the first one to report this bug. The problem seems to be that I didn't select prospects the first time I selected the "Select Players for Private Workouts" option from the Weekly Hub and now that option is gone from the Hub entirely with no way of making those selections from Scouting. There's really no way to proceed in Franchise Mode without this bug being fixed, therefore making the game unplayable for my purposes and a waste of lots and lots of $.46Views2likes3CommentsCustom playbooks don't work.
I have been playing for decades. I love to create my own playbook in franchise and use it for the entire season to see how well I can do with it. I cannot order the playbook the way I want, like specialty, then goal line, then mostly running (like I, strong I), then less backs and more receivers like single back, pistol, and shotgun. I set up the custom plays, give all my favorites, when to use them (first vs. 4th down, etc.). It's all for naughty, however, because even though I have set my franchise to go with my preferred playbook and coin toss settings, and then double check that they are set in advanced settings before the game, I don't get my playbook. I was also told to clear the playsheets -- which shouldn't be necessary, but ok, I did. It worked for the first game, but not after. I have been complaining about this for over a month. First I was able to communicate with help, but no more. They even closed my case and said, "no fix available". As I said, I've been playing this for decades. I think this is the last year.8Views0likes0CommentsChange Prospect Focus
Someone please explain this to me, because I assume I'm missing something obvious. Just finished a franchise season. Have advanced to the Pro Day week prior to the draft. I set my scouts when I was told. Set my position focuses as guided throughout the season. I looked at every mock draft and scrolled through prospects at every point. I now have a list of about 30 favorite prospects that I want to keep an eye on during the draft. This is my mini-pool of players, scattered across all levels of talent and positions. As my picks approach, I will first look at these prospects before moving to the full list. The problem is only two of them are fully scouted. The others are all 60%. What else can I do? Is there a way to change scouts every week? Change position focus a few times to cover them all? As far as I can tell there is no option to focus on specific prospects. You either focus on a single position in a region or...well, that's it. So please, someone tell me what I'm missing. Why would I look at prospects throughout the season and identify the players I'm interested in if I have no control over how much time and effort is put into scouting them? No way this is just terrible design, so let me know what I'm doing wrong.15Views0likes0CommentsIs IR really broken?
I was a huge Madden Football fan since the first one on Sega Genesis. Stopped playing many years ago. Madden 27 is my first time back. I play franchise and coach mode. All about the strategy and coaching. Developing a team. After years gone, I am blown away at how many terrible bugs and complete failures exist in this game. The one I just ran into is being unable to take a player off IR. When I placed in on the list, the game text said he would have to stay on IR for a minimum of 4-weeks. Now, 6-weeks later the player has been healed for a couple weeks. We have an open roster spot. No other players have been activated from the IR list. But I simply don't get the option to activate him. Absolutely game-breaking. Essential functionality that doesn't work. How can a game that's been around for literally 35 years release a game with so much wrong with it?52Views2likes3CommentsPlayer Retirements Unexpected Pre and Post Draft
I wanted to follow up on Players retiring unexpectedly and too soon. Despite the update addressing player retirements, I feel like it's still an major issue as players, especially superstars would retire unexpectedly in some points during the offseason. For example, a player would retire just as the draft was going to begin or right after the draft has finished. I felt concerned about it since it was out of nowhere and hopefully this can get addressed.14Views0likes0Comments
