Created player in Franchise mode

I created a player in creation center, saved. Roster. Started a franchise and played one game with that created player playing. He is now randomly gone. Like he never existed. Is this a bug? Or a kno...

I'm having the same exact issue on my PS5. Very annoying how EA can't even give you a complete game 🙄.
