Drafting and Scouting Gripes

The current drafting and scouting system in Madden Franchise mode is deeply flawed and ruins what should be the best part of the offseason. The biggest issue is the unrealistic CPU logic, where computer teams regularly ignore glaring roster needs just to stack players at positions where they are already set. This is made worse by a clunky and frustrating scouting menu that forces players to click through endless tabs just to sort rookies by basic traits or combine scores. To make matters worse, the information is often hidden or bugged even after a full year of scouting, forcing users to completely guess on premium draft picks. On top of that, the visual polish is nonexistent. Generated rookies look like glitchy middle aged men, and the draft day cutscenes are broken, with character models constantly swapping body types and features right on stage.

On my first franchise, I maxed out the ability that reveals their "talent" 10% earlier. By the end of the season, none of the 90% scouted players had their talent revealed, only the 100% scouted. Complete waste of coach points.
