2v2 or 3v3 mode With Real Rosters

Hi EA Madden team, I know you might not even read this, but I'm writing it anyway because this matters to us. I've pre-ordered Madden every year for the last 12 years, and my first Madden was 2002....

Literally came here to make this post. I’ve started a petition on Change.org for as much good as it could do - who knows, but I’ve got to try. Feel free to jump over and sign it. I also tried to blast it on r/madden on Reddit. Hopefully enough of us want it back that EA learns. Probably not, but maybe.

Bring Back 2v2/3v3 With Real NFL Teams and Rosters — Community Petition

EA Madden Team,

Please restore online 2v2 and 3v3 using real NFL teams and current NFL rosters in Madden NFL 27.

The removal of Superstar KO has left a significant hole in Madden’s multiplayer options.

For players like us, the appeal wasn’t necessarily Superstar KO itself. It was the ability for multiple friends to play Madden cooperatively while still playing as actual NFL franchises.

We could simply choose the Jets, Steelers, Buccaneers, Bills, Cowboys, etc., divide responsibilities between two or three players, and compete against another group doing the same thing.

Superstar multiplayer with created players does not replace that experience.

Neither does MUT.

We want to play NFL football with NFL teams, cooperatively, online.

The community feature request is straightforward:

  • 2v2 using real NFL teams/current rosters
    • 3v3 using real NFL teams/current rosters
    • Public matchmaking
    • Private 2v2/3v3 matches
    • Standard NFL playbooks/rules
    • No MUT or created-player requirement
    • Ideally, persistent W/L records for each duo/trio

This functionality existed in previous Madden titles. We aren’t asking for an entirely new concept—we’re asking Madden to restore a multiplayer experience that a portion of the community played for years.

Even if Superstar KO itself never returns, please give us a dedicated way to play 2v2 and 3v3 Madden using the actual NFL teams we bought an NFL game to play with.
