Add 7v7s

I think adding a 7-on-7 football mode would be a great addition to Madden. 7v7 has become a huge part of modern football, especially for high school, college, and offseason NFL training. It would give players a new way to enjoy the game while also highlighting the passing and defensive coverage mechanics that Madden has been improving. (GameSpot)

A 7v7 mode could be fast-paced and competitive, with no offensive or defensive lines, focusing on quarterbacks, wide receivers, tight ends, linebackers, and defensive backs. This would create a unique experience where player skill, route running, timing, and defensive adjustments matter more than simply winning in the trenches.

It could also expand online play. Imagine 2v2, 3v3, or even 7-player team matchmaking where each person controls one position. It would be a fun alternative to full 11v11 games and could attract casual players who want shorter matches while also giving competitive players another mode to master.

Adding 7v7 would also fit well with Superstar mode by letting users train their created player, improve chemistry with teammates, or participate in offseason tournaments. It would add replay value without replacing traditional football, and it would make Madden feel more connected to the way football is played and practiced today.

I believe a 7v7 mode would be one of the most original additions Madden could make because it offers a fresh experience while using gameplay systems that are already in the game.
