Adding Odds and Power Rankings Feature
- Favorite / Win Probability Feature
Add a favorite and win probability feature before games. On the pre-game scoreboard screen it could show which team is favored, the estimated chance of winning, and the projected margin of victory.
For example:
Chiefs — 68% projected win chance
Bills — 32% projected win chance
Projected margin: Chiefs by 6.5
It could be based on things like overall ratings, player ratings, injuries, home-field advantage, recent performance, and team stats.
- Power Rankings
Add a Power Rankings section to the League menu. This would rank every team in the league from #1 to the bottom based on how strong they actually are.
It could update every week based on things like:
- Win/loss record
- Strength of schedule
- Point differential
- Recent performance
- Team/player ratings
- Major injuries
I think these features would make Franchise mode feel much more realistic and give players more information going into each game.
