Inaccurate cut scenes
Dear EA Sports Madden Development Team,
I’m writing to bring attention to an issue in Madden NFL 27 that is hurting the game’s immersion: cutscenes and replays often don’t accurately reflect what happened on the field.
For example, when a quarterback is injured and replaced by the backup, subsequent cutscenes may still show the injured quarterback as if he is playing. This immediately breaks the realism.
Replays can have similar problems. Officials sometimes appear in different positions than where they were during the actual play, making the replay feel inaccurate rather than like a recreation of what just happened.
I’d like to see the cutscene and replay systems become more context-aware. Cutscenes should recognize current players after injuries and substitutions, while replays should preserve the actual positioning of players and officials from the play.
These details may seem minor, but they make a major difference in creating an authentic NFL experience. Madden has strong presentation, graphics, commentary, and atmosphere, so inconsistencies like these stand out and take players out of the game.
I hope the development team can address these issues in future updates and Madden titles. Improving the accuracy of cutscenes and replays would go a long way toward making the game feel more realistic and immersive.
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback.
Sincerely,
A Madden player
