I wonder how many of the current Madden team have watched the Amazon documentary. John Madden himself talked about how important the quality of the game was. If it didn't meet his high standard, he didn't want his name on the product. Think he'd be happy with the current state of the game?
He 100% would not. But we keep buying it. If we didn't buy it, they would eventually make the quality of the game a priority. Because just like every other company in the world, all they care about is money. They will only act if forced to due to a lawsuit, or they lose money...That is it. There is no reason for them to change anything. They can and do roll out trash every year, and every year we talk ourselves into "this is the year they care, and make a good game", and every year we are furious when it is exactly the same. I wish this wasn't the case, but it will NEVER change unless they are forced to.
