Receivers dropping the ball too much

How in the world could anyone from EA test this game, and think it’s reasonable for receivers to drop every **bleep** pass. How have I been on all pro for years, balling and out and having fun, and now suddenly a quarterback like Josh Allen has 35% completion 50 yards passing and zero touchdowns at the end of the game? In what world does Josh Allan accomplish that? In what world is DK Metcalf jogging down the sideline completely open and the ball just hit him in the hands and falls to the ground?

And the sliders barely do anything. I moved my pass blocking all the way to 100 and I still get instantly sacked at least five times a game.  Rollouts are gone. Screens are gone. Comebacks are gone. The teleporting linebackers and safeties with 8 foot long arms are the worst I’ve ever seen. And how do I have Bosa and Gerrett on my defensive line, with the CPU pass blocking turned to zero, and I still get one sack a game, maybe?

What’s the point of taking elite players in the fantasy draft if they’re just gonna stand there like traffic cones glued to the tackles and do nothing? What’s the point of having Josh Allan?  I feel like they designed this game for those kids that played 10 hours a day and never leave their basement.  I went down to pro and played some games and it was way too easy. But now all pro feels like all Madden with the sliders up.

I’ve never had less fun and been more frustrated playing Madden. I’ve never in my life not finished a franchise season. But twice now my stats are so pathetic that I’ve just abandoned the franchise midseason because there’s no way I’m winning anything like a rushing title, or a DPOY. No **bleep** way.

Thanks, EA. I’ll eagerly wait for the patch, that’ll probably fix nothing.

Edit: Modified the title to better reflect the content of the thread. -CM

  • This right here, receivers drops are an enormous issue not only in Madden 2027 but also NCAA 2027.  AT this point with all the different videos and data that has been presented, I am convinced this is a fundamental flaw in both games.
