SLCB in Ultimate Team Lineup

In other modes on Madden 27, FS and SS players can be inserted into the SLCB position in the depth chart. Ultimate Team restricts the SLCB spot to only be filled by CB cards. College 27 Ultimate Team allows you to fill the position with FS and SS cards as well. Why is it that Madden Ultimate Team doesn’t allow players like Kyle Hamilton and Nick Emmanwori to play the SLCB position as they do in real life?
