Teambuilder 27 - A bit disappointed

I wanna start this off by saying that this could very well change in the future, but for right now. I wanna say, that I'm glad we got more stuff coming to teambuilder, but I really feel like this was a missed chance to annouce that teambuilder teams can be used in play now and offline franchise. Unless they change that, then I might be wrong. But I really feel like they're ignoring a big request that community really wants.  We get new stuff being added, but not the one thing people have been requesting since TeamBuilder came back. What I hope for is maybe the community manager can relay this to maybe the devs because I know people want this feature.

Teambuilder is always mentoin on the CFB deep dives but not the madden one. You can make the guess that any features from CFB would carry over to madden. But yeah I agree there needs to be explaination as to why teambuilder teams can not be used in play now or offline franchise for madden. Like OP in the post said, hope someone from EA sees this.

  • I see the new website is up and running but I assume you still can't use your created team builder teams in play now mode like 25 and 26. If this is the case I am totally disappointed.

They also did very little, if anything, in the way of improvement to the Teambuilder interface.

The only change I actually saw was a button that randomizes player names (although the attributes stay the same unless you manually edit them.)

Others who are big on uniform designs have mentioned some possible changes there... however, from what I'm gathering, they broke as much as they fixed.

The part that makes me shake my head is: you can go into the development pane of your web browser and access the team/player objects that are being worked on, and there is a slew of data there. Player age, hometown, contract length, salary, bonus, average rainfall... yet none of this is editable (except with console commands or browser extensions.) They could have very easily added these fields to the input form.
